It would be nice if I could install the USB Port on the SV furnished pigtail with a bulkhead fitting into my panel. Then I could just plug my crusier dongal into that without fumbling under the panel to find where I tied the pigtail to do my updates and down loads. Is there, maybe, an adapter that is available out there to do that job?

Rather than putting mine down under, I cut a hole in the panel where I can access it for updates or whatever.

I mounted the USB port in the panel above right of the SkyView display. Took quite some time to make and mount a bracket but glad I did it. I upload my data files to Savvy Analysis after each flight which worked well until the last flight when Savvy split my single data file (not the black box one) into 3 files on upload. Still waiting for their explanation.

I purchased two of these for $3.95 each at http://www.adafruit.com/products/908

I installed them near the bottom left of each display. I keep a 32GB micro USB Thumb Drive plugged in where I have all my saved flight plans as well as the IFR charts. You can see the Blue 32GB USB Micro Thumb Drives in this photo

It makes accessing the Skyview system via the USB port a breeze and works very well for me.
