I have the USB to serial converter that came with the Dynon D-100. I have used the cable with driver’s disk to install firmware up dates. I now have access to a new laptop that runs Vista, but vista will not recognize the converter or windows drivers.
Question, where can I get a driver vista will recognize?
I tried the company that makes the drivers but they have a message to contact the mfg of the cable.

Have you tried just letting Vista find the driver itself online?

Every time we have done that with the USB-serial cable under Vista, vist finds the driver itself just fine.

This is assuming you are using the cable that Dynon sells of course.

I was at the hanger. I will try letting Vista find it one more time, and if no luck I will take it home and try the on line search.

Thanks

I don't think it's built in to Vista. I do believe you need to let it search online.
