USB Usage

I have read all the uses for the USB Ports Skyview Installation Manual. There are 2 USB ports and a third port available on pins 16-19.

Is there any difference in the functionality of any of the three available ports?

Is it necessary to use the port available on pins 16-19?

Just curious, why are there 3 ports?

They are all the same. You can use any of the ports for any purpose. The one on the D37 pins comes pre-installed on the harness that comes with the display, with an extension, which makes it easier to get to in the plane.

We put 3 on because there are other devices that use USB, like weather, video capture, and additional storage. Never know when they could be handy for us to add a feature.
