Val Avionics INS 429

I am using the DYNON Skyview touch in my RV 8. I consider to install the Val INS 429. The compatibility list by Val shows a 100% compability to Dynon Skyview. In the manual of the INS 429 I can't see the way to the ARINC 492, only RS 232.

Question: is the INS 429 able to be a 2nd NAV source for the DYNON Skyview ?

The INS 429 doesn't appear to have an ARINC-429 interface, only RS-232 serial.

This footnote on the VAL compatibility page probably explains things: If your unit isn't listed, Check your user manual for SL 30/40 compatibility.  If it is listed, our 2000 series is compatible as well as the INS 429. SkyView is compatible with a Garmin SL30 NAV radio, so you would interface the INS 429 via the RS-232 serial port and set up SkyView as if it were connected to an SL30.
