Looking to use the video input to the Skyview. Are there any cameras better than others. Would appreciate some brand names.

Thanks

I'd especially like to know of units with Field of View (FOV) in the 70 - 90 degree range. The unit I use now has too wide an angle (120 deg?), and is just barely adequate for taxi use.

Any chance I could get a Dynon rep to chime in on what kind of camera would be good to use with video in? Not looking for produce endorsements but an idea of specs to look for in a camera. Would be greatly appreciated.

There are many cameras out there, and anything with a composite (that's the RCA jack that's often colored yellow) or s-video output (the circular multi-pin type) will work with SkyView's video input adapter. For viewing on SkyView, cameras that can output NTSC or PAL in full-frame 4:3 output without letterboxing a widescreen take better advantage of the available real estate on the screen.
