I would like to repeat the EFIS display on a headrest screen (my wife also isnsists on being able to watch DVD/videos) using a VGA connector or RCA Video will these be in the new system?

We do not know 100% what we are going to do, or if we are going to support other screens. The new screens are much thinner, so the best answer may just be to use a second 7" screen in the back. No DVD's on there though ;)

Those cheap DVD screen are useless at displaying text or an efis representation. I've tried and given it up as a bad job. The S-Video spec is so prone to noise and reflections that the image just shows blurred text and jagged lines, that are then aliased out of existence!

The only way to get a clear image would be VGA, or one of the newer digital interfaces...
