Vision Microsystems Oil Pressure / Fuel Pressure

Does anyone know the wiring specifics on the Vision Microsystems Pressure transducers? They appear to have a 4 wire connection.

I have a friend that is looking at using these existing sensors with his new SkyView (which of course is expecting a single voltage).

If anyone has any information before we start calling around and playing with a meter, it would be appreciated!

All I could find is that they are 4 wire
pin 1 white, pin 2 black, pin 3 green, pin 4 red.
from the trouble shooting guide.
pin 4 red is +5v
pin 1 is 1.7 to 2.10 V
pin 3 is 1.7 to 2.10 V
pin 3 is -0.003 to + 0.003 at 0 psi
pin 3 is 0.031 to 0.034 at 10 psi
 0.028 to 0.032 at 30 psi
 0.028 to 0.032 at 60 psi

no ref for pin 2 found


why not just get new senders at $35 each ?

Thanks for that info. Maybe pind 2 is ground then...

I agree with you on the new sensors, but I think he wants to keep his old ones. For the price, they must be made of solid gold or something!
