I know you have intro'd voice alerts with the expansion module but can there be a way to add our own without buying a module that won't fit into my panel anyway? Specifically, I would like to have a "CHECK GEAR" alert for a certain airspeed. Would it be possible to write code so that an MP3 file could be loaded from a laptop and assigned to a Limit Value to trigger warning messages - much like you already offer for all the EMS functions? I could go in and program a limit on the EFIS, which when the speed tape reads, say 85 knots, I would hear "CHECK GEAR"? In the case of the gear it would work for both gear up and gear down. I could record a noticeable female voice in MP3 format and download it to the EFIS. Same thing could apply for altitude warnings. I know you have AOA warnings - why not make these available too? Sorry if this has come up before but it has been on my mind for as long as I have had my airplane and you guys have an awesome platform that could probably easily accomodate a couple more lines of code. Thanks much!

There is no hardware in the EFIS that can play a sound file. All it can do is generate a limited set of tones, such as the AoA tone.

The HS34 hardware is required to play a sound file. We're doing it on the HS34 because it's the only place we can. If you really wanted to, you could stick the HS34 behind your panel and just use it as an audio output module.
