Voltage Regulator Installation

I am installing my D-120 in my Jabiru powered Zenith 601XL. To install the ammeter shunt, I am referring to the sketch on page 3-11 of the EMS-D120 Installation Guide. I wish to use position "A" so the ammeter will show current flow into or out of the battery, showing both positive and negative amounts. I'm not quite sure where the output of the voltage regulator should tap in relation to the ammeter shunt. I feel that it should tap to the "H" (non-battery) side of the shunt, but I'm not sure. Can you confirm that this is the proper location?

Thanks,

Ron

Unfortunately, that's a question for Jabiru. We're not familiar enough with their voltage regulator to know what it expects. If it's truly the "output" of the VR, isn't this the output of the alternator? If that's the case, it goes the same place as the alternator in the diagram, which is after the shunt.
