Just fired up my engine for the first time and on the vp-x it is showing the Skyview and the engine ecu current fluctuating
Anyone else had this? The dynon shunt powered amp gauge steady but the vpx is not.
Dynon and engine tech team both say the amps should be steady so I think the vpx is the issue
Any one else had this issue or got any ideas?
Thanks for any help offered

That sounds like a question for Vertical Power. All we do is display what they send us.

Are you sure you don't have a strobe or something else on that is drawing varying amounts of power? Have your turned off every load and made sure it still happens with each device off?

FWIW - I'd be looking at the connection from aircraft to VP unit, you may suspect the VP but I've installed many and never had one fault yet with that system - hopefully the solution is simple :)

I'd check out the main wire from where it connects at battery or solenoid etc to the input bolt on VP - if satisfied all is ok then contact VP ;) please post the outcome.
