VS Horizontal Turquoise Line?

What does the "horizontal turquoise line" on the right side of the VS display refer to?

I know the VSRtoD is the magenta V-pointer and can be programmed for desired altitude and distance from the airport. I have set up my "approach angle degree" and altitude for simulated ILS approaches to individual runway ends. Is the horizontal turquoise line associated with the latter?

That is the line for VNAV to your destination. I have mine set at 2 degrees ending in 500' AGL over the waypoint in the setup. If you arm VNAV while in altitude hold in cruise, when the magenta Vertical Speed Required sinks down to match the VNAV line, your vertical mode will change to VNAV and the aircraft will follow that steady vertical path to your destination.

OK, but is the turquoise line leading to an "airport center" waypoint or to a specific "runway" ala a simulated ILS? As I understand it, you have to select either an "airport" waypoint or a specific runway.

It is from the final point in your flight plan which must be an airport since Skyview knows the elevation from the database. You determine how high above and what distance before which the system references and input those into the VNAV parameters in the setup screen.

I think it's nominally to the "center" of the airport. To get VNAV info to a specific runway you have to go to your flight plan, select the airport, go to the runway tab, select the appropriate runway and press "Direct To". In my Skyview Pilot's Manual, it's in the sections titled "Extended Runways" and "Vertical Navigation – Internal SkyView Flight Plan".

Is the extended runway and VNAV go to the VREQ setting? or to the database altitude for that airport?- aka threshold at the airport altitude?
