VS -> VNAV Capture

It seems the Garmin AP's (GFC 500 and 600s) allow capture a GS from above. IE, if ATC were to dump you above a GS, with Garmin, you can VS down to capture the GS (VNAV, ILS, LPV) from above. This is a great and wonderful capability.

I just double checked the Skyview docs on page 8-23 of the Pilot's Guide, it still says this.

The altitude that is held prior to VNAV must be BELOW the glideslope/VNAV profile. In other words, when VNAV is armed, the glideslope indicator should be above its centered position.

It would be great if Dynon could support this as well. Just wanted this noted. Thanks!
