So, there I was, doing a timed climb to service ceiling and trying to apply the Vy adjustment rule of thumb (-1% IAS/1000' DA or +1% TAS/1000' DA) in my head wondering why, with all this computing power in front of me, I don't have a way to have it help me out with that.
Not exactly sure how I'd implement it. I'd personally like to see the Vx & Vy indicator on the airspeed tape adjusted based on DA. That might be a problem, though, but it would sure be nice if to have that ability, particularly for Vy. I can check Vx once before takeoff but Vy needs a more dynamic adjustment during the climb.
