Dynon,

Several folks now have expressed enough displeasure with the various un-documented "features" in V15 that they wish to revert to V14.  I'm one of them.

The map clutter (airspace alerter) that can't be turned off, the PFD clutter (airport identifiers on the horizon line) that can't be turned off, the ridiculously-oval HSI, the breaking of checklists that previously occupied exactly the number of lines on one screen without scrolling....  None of these things were documented, and any one individually would be a deal breaker for me.

At this point, V14 reversion is an absolute must.  Please let us know how we can accomplish this.

The airspace alerter toggle is MAP MENU > MAP ITEMS > AIRSPACE PROXIMITY.
Thanks to all of the constructive feedback, we're going to change back to the round HSI in the next release, due out shortly. I'm not sure I'm completely following the checklist issue. Is it that the checklists that you've crafted to date would need to be modified shortened one row now that that there is one less available line on the screen?

Yes, this is exactly the issue. It's a potential Safety of Flight concern if I miss "canopy closed and latched" right before takeoff because I now have to scroll to see it where previously I did not. (I purposely made my checklists one page maxiumum so that no scrolling was necessary. This resulted in compressed, but functional, checklists.)

Extra blank space does no one any good. It feels like a sacrifice of functionality for aesthetics. If this had been documented I would not have loaded V15.

REALLY appreciate the response on the round HSI. As for the ability to turn off the airspace alerter, I was unable to find that in the menus or documentation previously - thank you for the instructions and for building in a way to turn it off.
