Would you please confirm that i need to add the 1kOhm resistor to 5+V to use the 399 temp sender for OAT and Carb temp? the spec on the 399 says that it reads 212 Ohms at 212F
Thanks very much

Yes, that one gets the 1k resistor. Follow the instructions for the 100413 p/n in the latest manual. the sensor should have all black wires.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have the 1Kohm resistors in hand now. Can I simplify the circuit by using one resistor to supply both the OAT and carb temp sensors, or do I need to use individual resistors for each sensor? Thanks again.

So to clarify - the 399 sensor is a Carb temp sensor. When that sensor is used, you use a resistor per the manual.

The OAT probe DOES NOT get resistors, and the 399 sensor can not be used for OAT, by the way. It's a different sensor all together. Either the 100433-000 sensor (black/white wires) or the 100433-001 (multicolored wires) can be used, but neither gets a resistor in that installation.

OK, I've got black and white. Am connected to general input 1 and have selected OAT and sensor 1. Temp reads 130F with ambient 83F. Is there any way to change the OAT reading that is running high on this D10? The sender was reading correctly on the analog Westach gauge.
Thanks

To be clear, the ONLY Dynon probe that's usable as OAT on the GP inputs is Dynon p/n 100433-000 or 100433-001. If you have a sensor that formerly went with a westach gauge, it's not the same sensor.
