Hi - wonder if anyone has any ideas here.

I'm trying to set up a reliable connection between my HDX screen and my iPad to be able to import flight plans from FlyQ. I occasionally get a green 'ONLINE' indication on the HDX screen, and at that point my iPad recognizes the Wi-Fi signal from the HDX, but it only lasts for a few seconds. Mostly I get an 'OFFLINE - NO ADAPTER THIS SCREEN' message on the HDX.

On the Wi-Fi Setup menu I have

Network Name - Skyview-N623LD
Wi-Fi Enabled - YES
WI-Fi Password (WPA2) - *********
Wi-Fi Icon on Apple Devices - YES

What's confusing me is that it does periodically make a connection, but it never lasts more than a few seconds. Not sure how or what to troubleshoot here. Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Could it be that you have another device that is set to make a connection with your HDX? I use Foreflight on my iPad, both to load flight plans but also for ownship position in Foreflight and a second traffic display. I find that my phone preferentially connects to the HDX wifi, so I often have to turn off wifi on my phone so that the iPad will connect. If I forget to do that in advance, I have to turn off the phone wifi, then reset the iPad wifi, after which I get a reliable connection.

Thanks for this suggestion. Will check if my iPhone may be the culprit.
