D100 Wind speed indication of more than 100knots!

True Wind was around 15/17 Knots. All other parameters - OAT 19 celsius, ASI 95 Knots, Altimeter 1200 ft (AGL) - were valuable and acceptable
What can be happen?

The last parts of that equation is mag heading and GPS ground track. Check that both are correct (GPS track is the small magenta triangle on the HSI display). My hunch is that one is pointing in the wrong direction, causing the erroneous reading.

I apolagise for my previous post about the "error" information of the wind aloft speed indication on my EFIS D100. Everything is find and the problem was "a miss intrepretation" of mine due to 3 weeks stayng grounded! I was, in fact, reading the TAS whitch was indicating the real TAS and obsiously not the wind aloft speed. Sorry about that.
Dynon's EFIS and EMS are great and I have had since November 2007 full satisfaction.
