I'm hooking up my ACK to Skyview. I have the transponder hooked to serial #1 TX and GPS hooked to serial #5 TX. Any help on what place I need to use to hook pin # 4 of the E-04 ELT to?
Thanks for any help

Elmer:

See Page 4-18 of the SkyView System Installation Guide - Dynon ADAHRS / EMS / SYSTEM / NMEA (GPS) Data Outputs.

From your description, Serial Ports 2, 3, and 4 are on your SkyView display are unused.
1. Choose Serial Port 2, 3, or 4.
2. Wire the TX and GND to the ELT.
3. If you have more than one SkyView display, make the same connections to all of the displays in parallel.
3. Set the SERIAL OUT DEVICE to NMEA OUT (BASIC). Be sure to match the baud rate to the rate that your ELT is expecting (typically, 4800 or 9600).

I'm going to wait for the SV GPS-2020 ( hope it ships soon ).
Will the GPS 2020 also work the same as the GPS 250 wiith the ACK E-04 ELT?  I noticed in the specs that the GPS 2020 has a baud rate of 115200 but the E-04 can only take up to 9600.  Not sure it maters as it appers from the last post that you set the baud rate in the serial port file.

Thanks

We don't recommend that you connect an ELT directly to either the SV-GPS-250 or the SV-GPS-2020, so the data rate between the SV-GPS-xxxx to SkyView is irrelevant.

Instead, connect the ELT to an unused Serial TX port on the SkyView, and then configure that Serial TX to:
NMEA OUT (BASIC)
and set the SERIAL IN/OUT BAUD RATE appropriately for the ELT.
