Do you keep wiring schemes that people come up with?

I have a D-100 with AP74 and HS34. These all talk on the DSUB.

Now, to the HS34 I will be connecting:
GX60 as primary GPS
SL30 (Active and Standby NAV)
GPSMAP496 as backup GPS

Transponder is GTX327 but I don't think it needs to talk to anything?

I suspect this layout has been done before so I thought I'd save some time by asking.

Also, is the way of switching between the GPS's an external switch or does HS34 know how to switch GPS sources? I only want the 486 in the mix for redundancy so it's optional, but sending frequencies to the SL-30 would be cool.

Thank you!

We don't have a wiring scheme database, but some thoughts/comments:

The 327 can get altitude from your D100's serial output, but that's separate from the HS34 and doesn't really factor into the nav source discussion.

There isn't a way to hook up an external switch to differentiate the GX60 from the 496, but they'll have dedicated source numbers. So when you hit the NAVSRC button on the HS34, you'll have GPS1 (GX60 or 496), GPS2 (GX60 or 496), and NAV1. (I forget off the top of my head the priority order for the GPSes)

One you have the SL30 and 496 connected via serial (both TX and RX to the HS34 for the SL30), frequencies sent from the 496 to the SL30 will pass through the HS34 - this happens tranparently/automatically
