As I near the end (hopefully!) of my 12+ year-long building process, I thought it would be a good idea to check in here and see what questions/concerns/tips other builders have had.
WOW is all that comes to mind.
When I started building N8RV, my choices of engines were two: new or rebuilt. My choices for panel instruments were: round gauges or nothing.
As if it's not daunting enough to stare at the maze of wires behind my panel right now and wonder if all of them are going to all the right places, I check in here and see what a learning curve I have ahead of me just learning to set up and comprehend all of the information that my brand-new-but-nearly-obsolete Dynon 100 & 120 will give me. It's pretty overwhelming.
However, thinking back to when I first fired-up my new panel (lovingly built by SteinAir), I remember thinking how COOL it all looked! I can't wait till I'm done sanding and priming and sanding and painting ... so I can once again plug in the units and begin learning how to make it all work.
Thanks, Dynon, for giving my panel more bang for the buck than I could ever have imagined.
Sorry ... I just need to vent from the mental overload.
