XPNDR GPS IN OFFLINE "Caution" Alert

I apologize if this has been asked before...I searched for a while but did not find the answer I was looking for.

While performing aerobatics (even steep turns occasionally), the GPS position source for ADS-B will lose it's view of the sky and will go offline....giving a "Caution" message and spoken alert.

All fine and good, but I get very nervous when I get a spoken "Caution" while I'm upside down, and/or otherwise intensely concentrating on a maneuver.  Is there anyway to change this "Caution" alert to say something else, e.g. "G-P-S"?

There isn't a way that I can think of to surpress that alert without altering your system configuration. What kind of GPS is feeding it? Is it our SV-GPS-250 or a certified one? (in my airplane, the certified source is definitely slower to lock on, though I admit I'm not doing what you're doing to its sky view)

I'm using the Freeflight 1201. It works really well. It takes 2-3 minutes to "lock on" after power up...which I suspect is completely normal. Only during [heavy] maneuvering and aerobatics do I get an audible "Caution". It must be out of sight of the satellite(s) just long enough to trigger the alert.

I just thought it'd be nice if it could simply alert me by saying "GPS" or anything other than "Caution"....afterall, you guys changed the "Switch Fuel Tank" from a Caution to a Message.    I know little about programming, and I'm sure it's much more complicated than I'm suggesting....just would be nice.  Thanks.

I use the Dynon GPS puck. I'm doing acro down at 250ft to 2k and have never had a "Caution" because of GPS signal loss.

I use the Dynon GPS for Skyview position as well.  The audible Caution (and corresponding yellow caution message) is because of the loss of GPS position coming from the Freeflight 1201 into the transponder, which transmits that information for a certified ADS-B OUT position source.
