Same here.. you can’t buy the servos or the autopilot control buttons yet but you can pre wire everything so it’s ready to plug-in and install when they get the certified check done. We Had our panel cut for the autopilot control so it will be a easy install
Sounds good....should be starting my install in the next couple of weeks. Maybe their AP will be certified by then!

Hi John, looks great! Just curious why you chose the JPI engine monitor over the Dynon? Is it something you already had or some other reason? Thanks.

Thanks we’re tickled pink on the results. Yes we had the JPI already and really liked it I personally also prefer that the dynon screen be more focused on flight instruments and not also display EMS on the same scree.

Cool - want to install two 10 inch Skyviews on my 182E: was that Dave at Ramona Avionics?
Yes it was him.. all the hard work has been done on his part getting everything worked out so I imagine this will just get smoother but they work they did was just beautiful

Personally, I'd install a dedicated 7" Skyview screen and have the EMS for the flexiblity over keeping a JPI930... and I love the JPI. Repair costs on the JPI products are so insane now, and the Skyview can use all the same probes, so you really just need the EMS box. Money spent now would probably save money down the road.

We installed two 10 inch HDX and a separate 930 we have room if we ever need another 7 inch HDX but we can make that investment if and when the time makes it a wise decision

Well today was the day.. after months of anticipation we finally got her back in the sky for the first flight. Started out the morning with Compass Calibration on ground then in the sky as we circled the field. everything just work perfectly! Then flew it around local for one hour to shake off the cobwebs and practice with the new system.

I just have one comment “ Flying this aircraft has never been easier and, with the instantaneous operational awareness, never safer in the air in So Cal”

and that’s just my first Flight.

John, I flew my 182 for the first time last Thursday, and I was super impressed with the system. Everything works perfectly and and I agree, the level of safety and ease of use is great!
