I still find my winds a loft completely in error. I have installed latest Dynon sftware down load and confirmed the static lines are patent and attached to the rear ( Vans plans pulled rivet style) static ports, aswell as to ADHRS. Are there any other reasons why my ' winds aloft' indications on my Classic Skyview are completely off. This has been completely astray for the last 6 years since installation in my RV7a. My friends with comparable Garmin gear seem to have meaningful wind estimates .

Can you describe it better than "completely in error"?

Winds Aloft uses, per the User's Manual, GPS, Pitot, Static, Magnetometer and OAT.

So if it's "completely off", it's one of those. Have you verified your A/S, Alt, and mag heading?

The airspeed is calibrated, as is altitude, oat. I havent performed a magnetic calibration since initial install.
Winds being off = almost always come from an angle from Left side of aircraft , mostly cross head wind , even when I know the wind may be from the Right( eg if Im laying off drift). Any other thought would be welcome. It would be good to have a function that gives a credible reading! The only other thing I can do is repeat magnetic calibration, even though my headings and tracks seem to be ok.

What do you mean "calibrated" for AS and OAT?

And doing a mag calibration seems like a good first step if you've not done one since initial installation.
