Muting/nonMuting inputs

I have a bunch of questions on wiring the intercom, but I'll separate them to make it easy and searchable. If I am not connecting any other audio device to my Dynon radio/intercom installation, do I need the Muting and Non-Muting Input wires for anything? I'm assuming if I'm not using them, I can cut them short and get rid of them. Thx!

I would recommend not cutting them, rather just loop them up and secure with a zip tie. One day you may need them.
