Is the 7 inch Skyview still supported? Purchased 3 years ago and unable to update software. Was told no updates for 7 inch.

Who told you that? Updates were never limited by screen size.

The 7 inch is the HDX800. There are updates for it. I just updated mine and it was made in 2119
