Is there a way to turn up the volume on the AOA beeping. Its 100%. Sounds fine on the ground with no engine running. In the air it's useless. Dynon lady is also 100% and I hear her just fine. I can see AOA, but can't hear it. I can't look at that little gadget while landing. I need tones I can hear. Yes, I have an active noise headset. Works just fine. I can hear tower. I can hear passenger. I can't hear the beeps.

Yes. It's so small and I can't hear the beeps. My stall horn is more useful.

No, I meant were you aware it has a separate volume setting in the audio menu? That's probably what you were referring to when you said 100%, but I wanted to confirm. Some people miss that.

Yes. It's at 100%. The Skyview alarm is also at 100%. The Dynon lady blows my head off, but the beeps are almost inaudible in flight. I'm busy on final. I want to hear them.

You either did not configure the SkyView audio out properly, or you have a hardware problem. Are you feeding the SkyVIew audio out to non swithed audio panel input?

The AOA tone volume on my install is fine. I do not have the SkyView audio at 100% as it would be too loud.

My AOA volume is 100 in dynon setup, then best controlled on AUX 2 through GTR200 radio

I have the AOA at 100% volume and it's wired to a non-muting input on the Dynon intercom. I agree, the tones are not loud enough during phases of flight where there are folks talking on the radio, stepping on each other, etc.

All the other voice alerts come through just fine.

I finally got my AOA plumbed and calibrated. Now what? The manual doesn't really describe how the AOA should be used. There isn't a donut. So...what's the general guideline on flying with the Skyview AOA? How many green lines do I want when landing?

I never really look at it and instead rely on its beeping when entering red - relax elevator back-pressure right away!
The last calibration on my taildragger's AOA happened to work out so it would start beeping / entering red when aircraft's attitude is just right for a 3-point landing. I love that because I haven't had tailwheel-first touchdowns since that sweet-spot calibration.
The only other time I hear it beep is when soaring in slow steep turns in a thermal and that keeps me out of trouble there as well.

We flew a bunch of standard profiles and did screen captures in each so that we could reference them post flight. We then turned that data into a chart of reference settings, which included number of bars on the AOA for each desired performance profile.

Please get someone who knows how to use your AOA system to fly with you and show you, preferably a CFI with AOA knowledge. EVEN BEFORE THAT, research how AOA works because it's not about how many green lines, that would change in gusty winds for example. Have them teach you what each section in your display represents in any given moment.
