    New Airmate aviation data

Just a follow up. I have noticed that the load times onto a USB flash drive can vary widely depending on the ACTUAL speed of the USB flash drive. I was having some issues where loading charts onto the USB drive was taking exceptionally long. I researched fast compact USB drives and found the...

    New Airmate aviation data

Airmate has been extremely communicative during this process and I believe they are going to fix the geo-ref issues on the next data cycle. I will report back my experience! The download manager worked better for me on the most recent data and transferring to my USB drive didn't take too long...

    New Airmate aviation data

Quick update. I contacted AirMate with the issues I mentioned in the post above and they said that The taxi diagrams SHOULD be georeferenced and they are looking into the issue, along with the issue of the quick call up of the plates by holding the right button. They think the latter is some...

    New Airmate aviation data

I subbed to the Airmate North America data package. I would do just about anything to avoid Seattle Avionics Chart Data Manager software, considering I have a Mac and have to run a windows emulator to get it to work, which is super buggy and slow. So I had high hopes for Airmate. I downloaded...

    New Airmate aviation data

I'd pay $50 if the software for loading charts is better than Seattle Avionics....and for a Mac OS application!!!!! Hoping to test it out soon. Also, Mexico nav data and charts?? Not avail through Seattle Avionics for Dynon I dont think...

    Where are the PIREPS?

Do they show up over sectional or topographic or IFR or all of them? It’s weird I didn’t see any and I zoomed to several levels.

    Where are the PIREPS?

Yes that’s what I mean. It is selected but I don’t see them anywhere. I see traffic and everything else I would expect.

    Where are the PIREPS?

v16 for certified gives options for Pireps. It is selected. Where should I be seeing them and what do they look like? Foreflight showed a few Pireps today. I couldn't find them anywhere on the HDX.

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

I wish by 182 you meant PA32. Haha. If you do that PA32 autopilot I’d sure love to make an awesome video about it…. :)

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

Can you imagine having your business be held at the mercy of non-communicative bureaucracy while having customers waiting for product? It would be frustrating beyond belief.

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

That sounds like an awesome setup. Im interested in putting in a 7" in the middle just for engine monitoring like you mentioned. I don't currently have the engine monitoring (since I had a JPI previosuly in the plane) but think that would be the ideal setup in the 6- I don't think it would be...

Dynon Receives FAA Certification for Bonanza 36 Series Autopilot (and some new products too!)

Can't wait to install v16 in my certified HDX! Do you have any info on the dBZ values of the new ADSB radar color scheme mentioned in the release notes? We need values to go with those colors please!

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

I feel really badly for Dynon. FAA delays have made it so they can't even sell their flagship product. I guarantee this wasn't an easy post or email to write. I hope the FAA gets on the ball and gives y'all what you need. You make the best product out there at the best price and deserve tons of...
