Cane out today turned on all systems and everything worked fine. Perhaps I did not shut the units down long enough before I powered them back up.
All is good
Now I have a big red X across my 7 inch display. The 10 inch is fine.
It appears that serial port to the Dynon GPS the old one has failed. i will trouble shoot this tomorrow as I have the GPS receivers crossed wired to the units on Serial port 4 and Serial port 5. I will switch the ports to the...
After doing the latest update for the obstacle and nav database everything looked normal intil I tried to engage the autopilot. I did forget to reboot the displays after doing the download.
The pitch would not capture the VS or would altitude hold. It would not. allow the vnav function to work...
In times past I have experienced everything you are talking about
A couple items come to mind that really helped
Make sure you format the usb stick
First time it down loads it will take almost an hour

I have noticed that my Altitde readout is consistently 2 hundred low on the ADSB tracks on FlightAware Verses what I am flying with a current altimeter setting.
transponder and altimeter checks are current for IFR. As well as the ADSB
Been to two different shops over the last 4 years for those...

I have a VOR antenna and it works well for the ILS approaches thru the GTN 650. I dig around for the model number have it mounted on the aft fuselage just abeam the horizontal stab
I have noticed if you have a lot of DUC files on the thumb drive it sometime screws up the download to the Dynon’s.
I go to file manager and delete all the previous DUC files then download the current and have not had another issue.
I fly with the classic Skyview have flow with other SkyView classics also and on an approach the flight director is always hunting more than the actual aircraft turbulence. Is there a way to dampen the flight director so it is a more accurate representation of what is happening during an LPV...
If you have min set in the window for the Vnav "MDA" the plane should not violate that MDA with the autopilot on. And once coupled on the Vnav portion of the approach you should be able to set your Miss approach altitude back into the Altitude window so when you tell it to miss and re-engage...
