    I have one egt probe that is all over the place. CHT temps are consistent.. It's obvious that probe is going south. I'm sure yours is doing the same.

    Resolution was obviously in settings. For some reason in last software update the serial port that was re-configured for ADSB and GPS antenna. They have to match. For some reason the update changed the serial port setting to a GPS antenna that was not installed. It was old Dynon sv250 gps...

    Mmm. Interesting. Have you guys dug into the settings in you HDX menu.? Specifically the alert settings values for AOA. If you do a search i believe on this site. You can find settings that seem to have worked for aoa

    That is very strange indeed. I have started up my HDX at 20F. Now it was not super fast boot up but have not had any issues in 3yrs of use. Never had touchscreen issue. Stupid question. But are you running it off a power supply? Voltage is steady at 12v or greater?

    If your in vnav. It will take you all the way to the ground. Works that way in in 787 also.

    $hit happens for sure. Sorry about your frustration. I'm sure you will be sent new one. My install went with no issues. Everything worked. The first time. Friends with Garmin have had same frustration over the years.

    It would not he difficult to modify software. Perhaps a Max pitch up to 15-20degrees at 2 degrees per second until best glide speed is reached. Not rocket science
