That is very strange indeed. I have started up my HDX at 20F. Now it was not super fast boot up but have not had any issues in 3yrs of use. Never had touchscreen issue. Stupid question. But are you running it off a power supply? Voltage is steady at 12v or greater?Update 2: touch quit working again. Dynon sent a new 10"hdx screen and it does the same thing: Touch works for 30-90 minutes, then touch quits working. Possibly temperature related, touch works on initial startup each day. Everything else works fine (adahrs, EMS, gps, map, pfd).
Mmm? It is strange that you got 2 units in a row..... And same issue. Thank God your under warranty. Dynon has never let me down.Running off a concorde battery maintained by a charger. Thought it could be voltage related so I shut off the charger before bootup two mornings. The voltage was low 12 volts when the touch quit working the first time and high 11 volts the second time.
Also tried an earthx battery. Same result at 13+ volts.
Afaik the screen has an internal power supply which can accept 10-30 volts DC.
I'm in communication with David at dynon. He's been extremely helpful.
