BG,
1: I was running 17.1.
2: Sure enough, my ADSB had an update awaiting install. It's installed and I'll wring her out tomorrow morning. Also, I do have the 472 module.

Thanks. I had installed all previous versions as they became available, so it’s safe to say I had whatever the previous version was named/numbered.
As for the ADSB module, I installed no update. I’m out of town, but I can send my replies Monday back in the hangar.
I installed 17.3 in my dual HDX. Now, the traffic targets are dropping out, so much so that they're visible for about 30-40% of the time. I haven't checked the weather screens or the TFRs.

I have the same problem. The VP-X screen is fully functional, meaning I can still activate the components by touch through the VP-X screen, but the rotary knob will not move the 'active' knob anywhere other than to the bottom of the screen. Scrolling through with a finger swipe works fine.

You're right. The problem stems from the USB stick/boot hangup I discussed here: https://forum.flydynon.com/threads/usb-sticks-in-hdx.13346/
Thanks, Don.
To be sure we're talking apples and apples, are you describing the dimming with the MANUAL dimmer? That's my setup: I wasn't aware the light sensor still had an effect when MANUAL dimming is selected.
Well, today I confirmed that the 1-2-5 button push reboots my displays. I'm glad to have the battery bypass switches for when I just want to disconnect the stuck screens from the backup batteries.
