Hello everyone,
I have installed a traffic detector called Superneurone in my aircraft.
In order to receive audio warnings, I need to activate the auxiliary audio input. My aircraft is equipped with Dynon HDX, which includes a Trig radio.
I haven't been able to find how to activate the auxiliary audio input on the various pages...
If anyone can tell me how to do this,
I'd be very grateful.

You don't say what model Trig VHF you have, But I will assume a TY91 or a TY96

On a TY91, connect your alert audio HI to pin 20 of the main unit connector.

If it is a TY96, then connect to Pin 14

Thank you, GKC Aviation, for your help.
I have successfully connected the superneuron to pin 20 on my radio, but there is no sound in the headset.
I am trying to find out how to activate or adjust the volume of the auxiliary input as indicated on the following page via the HDX.

Hi Guy,

The alert audio is connected to your Trig radio, not the Skyview.

Go into your Trig radio configuration menu as posted by you above, by holding the MON button for two seconds or so.
Go to the Auxiliary input volume, and turn it up. You might find that it is set to zero as the default, which is why you can't hear it.
Let us know if you are still having trouble.

I just had a look at the Superneurone manual, there is an Audio Ground on there too.
This will need to be connected to the Trig radio Pin 9, 22 or 19 (any of these will work)

So you currently have pin 15 of the Superneurone connected to pin 20 of the Trig, now you need to connect pin 13 of the Superneurone to either of pins 9,22 or 19 of the Trig.

Thanks GKC, that's exactly what I can't do.
On the Skyview interface, I don't have a MON button, only a dual button, and when I press that button, I don't have access to the radio settings.
I'll see if connecting the audio ground gives me access to the radio settings...
I'll let you know the results.

Have you actually got a separate Trig radio or do you have the 'Dynon' radio, which is a Dynon head and a Trig remote body?

If you have a separate Trig radio, what model do you have.

Good evening, Paul.
My device is equipped with radio "Dynon" HDX .
I think it's a Trig 91, but I couldn't find any information about the hardware used.
The radio interface is via
the HDX screen,
Ihave also a SV COM PAnel and a SV intercom 2 places
Best regards
Guy

Well, that makes a difference.
You have to put the audio into your intercom unit.
Put your Superneurone audio HI into pin 17 of the intercom connector, and splice your audio ground into the wire that is currently in pin 1 of the intercom. That should work.

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding of how this is supposed to be wired and how it is supposed to work.

I would suggest contacting a qualified shop to help you get this wired and configured.

Your issue is not a Dynon hdx issue.

What audio panel or intercom system do you have? (Hint it’s not the HDX)

This just skips the radio. You COULD route it through the radio if you wanted that volume and muting control, but it isn't really necessary. However, the aux input on the Trig is bandwidth limited, so it might not do everything you want with the Superneurone anyway. So, unless you really, really, really want that volume and muting control, it's simpler to just send it to the intercom as GKC said. It also has the automatic ability to mute when the radio is active, but it only controls master volume, not volume for individual inputs. But if you decide you want that volume and muting control by routing through the Trig, I highly recommend you test it first to see if it works. The bandwidth limitation might make it unsuitable for that purpose.
