I've switched from Airmate to Seattle Avionics as the database supplier because I had problems where the neither HDX would not recognize or use the databases on the mini USB stick. It seems that neither HDX is reliably loading/reading the databases from the USB stick. Yesterday, neither HDX would read the stick and when I got into the setup screen, it's as if the USB wasn't even there.
Since I had a pair of backup USB sticks from the previous database cycle, I installed those and the HDX would properly load the VFR and plates on both screens. Tried swapping sticks again and no luck with the new databases. Tried power cycling both to no avail.
I've had this issue previously and it went away for a few flights. When I got home, I took a quick look to compare the old and new USB sticks to see if any files were missing. They appeared to have a similar set of files.
I've attached a screenshot of the new database from the USB stick. Is there anything missing? Anyone else have this issue?
