Hello friends. Finally got AOA on HDX dialed in. Odd thing that I am not sure is normal or not. During takeoff roll I get aural AOA ton and beeps until around 65kts... Not sure if that's normal. Also doing aerobatics. Get those too. Any fix or just a thing I have to live with? Thx Chris

I fly and RV8. Can you guys pass along what settings you use for AOA?? There is a sub menu in HDX that has two %values. 50-90%. Don't know what this is. Thanks

Thanks to all. Mentioned your suggestions to my avionics guy. Still wants me to install Dynon stuff. It talks better with Sky view components. Still have not heard from Dynon. Weird.

Yes. Airplane has never had electric trim installed. Old school vernier was romoved. So it needs it according to my avionics pro.

Trying to finalize my panel upgrade. Need SVTrimamp. My dealer said it's in stock but Dynon cannot ship. Some kind of "upgrade" on the component.? Anyone have any idea? Thx Chris

Mmm? Just talked to a fellow pilots doing panel upgrades. Apparently certified HDX displays are going out before Experimental? Only had to wait a a month or two to get theirs! Guess if you pay more for certified you get it quicker. Been waiting 6months. Sorry. Just grumpy and venting. Frustrating.

Just heard from my avionics supplier. Waiting to HDX 10in since December. Back order stuff is being sent out. He just got notified 3 HDx units ordered through him are shipped. Hope mine shows up soon.
