Trying to decide if I want to purchase the chart subscription. When using the approach plate feature, will you see the chart overlaid on the map based on map scale or is the chart the only thing visible.? What is the procedure for calling up a chart? Are low IFR charts coming in the future?

When using the 430w GPS to navigate to the IAF of a localizer or iLS approach the 430 sequences from GPS to NAV automaticaly as you pass over the IAF. Is there some way to have the HSI do the same. Switching manually is combersom during the approach. Or am I missing something. :)
Can the dimming output from Skyview drive an external device without an external rheostat? ( Provide a signal that is proportional to the auto dimming )
I now have had my traffic give me indications that there is traffic at my location and altitude several times. :-/ It only displays this for a fiew seconds then goes away. This occurs when I first come in range of the TIS service. Any ideas

On Skyview system would it be posable to have the heading sink to curent heading when the CWS is used. As it is it defalts to wherever the heading bug happens to be. I find CWS is most valuable when you are realy busy and having to reach down and adjust the heading bug to match curent heading...
On a recent flight the HSI would twitch back and forth about 30 degrees at a rate of once per secons. I was on GPS 1 (Garmin430) with no destination programed in the reciever. Worked fine when I entered a destination. Any thoughts?
On several ocasions my map has had portions that have turned black while some segments of the map are normal. happens quickly then back to normal. Whats up with that?
