Re: fuel flow for Lyc IO540

Plenty of people are using the 201B's that we sell with 540's. As you point out, when you have a fuel pump, it doesn't matter all that much. The pressure drop on a 201B is spec'd at 1.2 PSI at 30 GPH and 4.8 PSI at 60 GPH. If you do wish to use a larger sender, any Floscan will work with our...

    Lowrance GPS capture

If anyone out there has a Lowrance unit that they can take a capture of the serial stream from, that would be quite helpful to us. It appears Lowrance does not output the course line as a matter of corporate policy. We're hoping there may be some other data in the stream that lets us figure it...

Re: CHT probes seem loose after installation

Chris, You are supposed to screw the locking collars down the spring until they put a little pressure on the CHT probe. It's suppposed to go a few inches into the engine, hit the bottom of the tube, and be held in by the spring.

Re: EMS D120 Fuel Tank Sensor Matching.

Hi Donald, The EMS-D120 doesn't care if the voltage increases or decrease as the tanks go from full to empty, so if you really do have an output that goes from 0-5V as the tanks empty, this should work just as long as it is calibrated. See your email for more information.

    Electronic ignition compatibility

For those of you looking at the Dynon EMS or FlightDEK series and also using electronic ignitions, here's what we know about compatibility with the EMS: First, what the EMS needs is a pulse that goes from somewhere near ground (within 1V) and goes to or above 10V. This pulse can go quite high...

    Re: We need information

Donald, 1) If you have an EMS and an EFIS in the airplane, you will be able to put any information on either side. This is not fully implemented yet, so you'll need to wait for a firmware update to be able to shift both directions. Having an EFIS and an EMS in the airplane does not give you any...
