    Fuses, Yes, Fuses

What's so wrong with automotive grade??? I have four 12v mini blade fuses fitted in my aircraft. They have been used in non aircraft critical systems eg 12V power supply plug. They are secure, completely enclosed in a moisture/dust resistant insulating cap/housing, won't dislodge through an...

    Fuel pressure sensor

Hi Akash, Can't imagine why some of the Forum experts don't answer - I feel it is impolite, not to respond to a question. Sorry, not an electronics person so my response is speculation: I assume, these days, a pressure sensitive (load?) cell. In past would have been a diaphragm or Bowden...

How do I contact the Forum moderator(s)

As this part of the Forum is for "Non Produce Related" discussion I will make a limited response; I will not engage directly with Chriscalandro - he continues with his "shotgun declarations - does repetition change the outcome? Airguy - If you can quote for me where Chriscalandro actually...

How do I contact the Forum moderator(s)

My last attempt at reason; I asked a simple question - which can be distilled down to - would adjusting A, require a further adjustment to B. B having been already adjusted to my satisfaction. At no point did Chriscalandro address this. Instead he attempted to demonstrate his superior knowledge...

How do I contact the Forum moderator(s)

Thank you for your advice RV8JD, Naturally I disagree with you. If I got a tad frustrated - under the circumstances understandable I was never even close to being rude, made no assumptions about his capacity to understand, etc however will leave that to others to decide. As for an informed...

How do I contact the Forum moderator(s)

Oh well! I would rather direct my concerns to a administrator/moderator in private communication. I am new to this Forum having just the one post/question. One of the respondents; chriscalandro - At no time did he actually address my specific enquiry, preferring "shotgun" statements. Light on...

    Fuel Flow High

Chris - I know (hope) you are attempting to be helpful, unfortunately you are not. Your statements do not address the question. Are far to general in nature, repetitive & pedantic in tone. You do not read or take into account, the responses made to your suggestions. For this topic, this is my...

    Fuel Flow High

"With a return line, more than likely the only way to meter the fuel is with 2 transducers." Not correct! Read my comments above. Further I am reliably informed that several aircraft manufacturers' (eg Tecnam) install one sensor (Red Cube) and adjust the reading to accommodate the return line...

    Fuel Flow High

Yes & No - I purchased the incomplete, plans built, Sonex Legacy from the original builder and finished it. Under Australian rules, I am listed as the builder. It's been in the air for 132 hrs now. The aircraft came to me as an almost comprehensive "kit" in that I have had to purchase very...

    Fuel Flow High

"If that information is accurate, then the fuel flow itself must be accurate" Exactly what I would have expected, that does not seem to be what is happening. Read my opening statement. "They MUST BE CONFIGURED SEPARATELY AND INDEPENDENTLY." Once again you avoid the question - what...

    Fuel Flow High

I disagree - I have been specific in my question, you have been very general in your repeated response ie not addressing the question. I think you can infer from the information I have given, that I know how to change/adjust the calibration - I have achieved a satisfactory level of fuel...

    Fuel Flow High

I am sorry that you seem to be taking offence - perhaps you don't know the answer to my question. Will adjusting one cube pulse rate effect the reading of the other cube????
  14. S

    Fuel Flow High

No offence Chris, you are not addressing the second part of my question - "....will the adjustment to the return line pulses, effect the main line pulses accuracy?" IE When I start changing the pulse rate of the return line cube, will I also have to adjust the pulse rate on the mainline cube -...

    Fuel Flow High

Thank you for your comment. You have addressed the first part of my question BUT what of the second. "....will the adjustment to the return line pulses, effect the main line pulses accuracy""?

    Fuel Flow High

I have two fuel flow red cubes. One on main/delivery hose. One on return to tank hose. Followed Dynon instructions, I provisionally set both for recommended Rotax 912ULS pulses (70000??). Over several flight & refuels, to same level (full), I made adjustments to number of pulses on the...

ADAHRS Fail Internal Error: Multiple Sensors

Thanks Rhino. I am astonished by the fantastic service provided by Dynon Australia & USA. Not only did D. Australia proactively send me a "loaner" ADHARS, I found out yesterday that D. USA has repaired my unit and its on its way back and will be with me early next week.

ADAHRS Fail Internal Error: Multiple Sensors

The "loaner" works just fine. I am more intersted in any other failures that may be due to ambient temperature.

ADAHRS Fail Internal Error: Multiple Sensors

I am new to this Forum. My Dynon has the same failure sign as 704ch. My unit failed between working just fine, shutdown, return next day and pre engine start, check of fuel quantities FAIL!. Warm day about 38C I guess I should be thankful that it didnt fail in the air. Returned home and started...
