I too have altimeter problems. I'm thinking mine will also have to come back... My altimeter seems to vary quite a bit on start-up. What happens is I set the barometric pressure to the ATIS. Some days we are spot on, other days we are +/- 300 feet off..... So I go in and offset the altimeter...
