    You can test exactly the same thing by having the field turned off. This is an intermittent problem. It’s not easily tested by just unplugging the alternator. Good luck finding your wiring issue - Chris out.

    It’s not an alternator issue. That doesn’t make any sense. It’s not an engine ground issue. That doesn’t make any sense either. It has to be wiring or the EMS.

    I’m not aware of any resistor needed in line for the klavico. There are different versions and types of klavico, make sure you select the correct one.

    Those sensors do NOT rely on the engine ground. They have a dedicated ground wire that goes back to the EMS. Sounds like you have a wiring issue somewhere.

    If you are using the converters to go from capacitive to resistive then yes. But don’t do that. Ditch the converters and use the capacitance ones directly.

    No voltage suggests in installation error. Low voltage spread is fine, even with the warning, as long as it is consistent.
