    ADS-B FAA Compliance Report

Yeah, the other thing that really messes up the NIC reporting is flying around upside down... It will be interesting to see how they try to process the legalities around this one. :D

    Relocate buttons

Would it be possible to reconfigure buttons so the info button in maps ends being the same button one uses to migrate radio information to the radio? That way one just has to push the same button twice, which I'm finding is one of the more common things done in maps.

    SV-COM radio a bit weak

Hi Robert, OK, an update. I got to fly it today. Max range being able to just barely hear ATIS from a large airport is about 30 miles, and it doesn't get user audible until about 12 miles. Transmission range is good inside 15 miles but decays pretty fast much further than that. The other...

    SV-COM radio a bit weak

The unit is on an RV-3, with a RAMI bent whip antenna (AV-17). I measured the SWR on it yesterday and it was 1.44 at 136.975, 1.40 at 126.500 and 2.65 at 118.000. It rises from 1.5 to 2.65 from 119.000 to 118.000. The max power it puts out is 6.4W in the low frequency range, 6.0W mid range and...

    SV-COM radio a bit weak

Folks, I've been flying with the SV-COM radio for about 120 hours now on a new RV-3 and am wondering about transmission and reception range expectations. Generally I cannot receive ATIS transmission from more than about 15-20 miles with the SV-COM even with the unit in no-squelch mode. I've not...

    Auotpilot operation suggestion

Yes, all of these are good options. The issue is reducing button strokes. I did figure out the part about holding the rotary knob to reset. Part of the problem there though is holding it down like that in hard turbulence without activating something else is a challenge. Hence using the fix...

    Auotpilot operation suggestion

To Dynon Support, although feel free to weigh in anyone else: The AP function features seem to be designed primarily around not having the add on AP panel. As such there are a few features that require additional button pushes which are not necessary if one has an AP panel and Dynon were to...

    Seattle Avionics Not Mac Friendly

Does it bother anyone else that SA does not provide an app for Mac users, and because of this Mac users do not have access to all the flight guide data that is downloaded with the Windows app. At least I don't find that option on their website. So we pay the same price and get less benefit...

    Memory Logging

Will there be a possibility of software that will convert this data set into a .kml Google Earth file that one could view the flight path/attitude info on google earth like the one of the other EFIS products does? (I think it was Grand Rapids???) http://www.rvproject.gen.nz/grt/index.html is...

    Memory Logging

Is there any chance that the DSAB will ever allow for EFIS data to be logged into memory on the EMS D10????
