Have you confirmed its not a low voltage issue? The other thing I can think of is do you have a backup battery for the units. Wondering if the backup battery is getting old and not producing enough power. You could test by unplugging backup battery and see if it works ok then.

FYI, I use a nano sized usb wi-fi on both my RVs.  Was concerned about the length of the official size-wi-fi stick eventually causing problems.  Mine works fine so I don’t think there is anything proprietary about the Dynon wi-fi adapter.

Previous posters have reported success with re-crimping or replacing the crimp connectors on the EGT probes or the probe may have went bad.

Thanks Andy, It took some playing around with the IXpand app but if you left swipe on the file name and then tap on the three Red dots, an option is available to rename the file. So I just deleted that “.zip” from it and now the file name is correct. An extra step but it works.

Hi Andy, I did exactly the same procedure as you did on my iPhone, but it add a ".zip" to the end of the .duc" file; which makes it unusable.  Searching the internet to see if there is a setting on my iPhone somewhere that is causing this...

Hi Dwight, How did you get your hands on a new and improved 472? I am hearing months before they will be available to swap out original 472 units.

So I bought the 472 last march when it was announced. So have been storing an $800 box that I havent installed for a year now because Dynon said fix probably will probably involve both software and hardware changes. I see both sides, I want a fix that works, but its also almost been a year...

I think Dynon should re-evaluate its decision not to put the latest software on the Touch Skyview. No reason it cant run the same software as the HDX other than marketing? That would keep it from being obsoleted or not having all the latest improvements in software.

Its usually been more cost effective to sell your old unit and purchase an new unit versus previous trade-in programs. So what are you waiting for? ;)

These are normally caused by ground loops. I would investigate how everything is grounded and see if I could fix them to eliminate this issue.

I assume you havent calibrated the fuel tanks yet, just set up ranges? That could be why you are getting the ?cal. The other thing I have seen is that sometimes after setting a long time, the resistance float gets varnish built up on the windings and you get and the resistance goes real high.

There is also in the setup menu, an option to disable checking the status of the AP Disenage switch if you want to turn off the alarm until you fix it. SETUP MENU > AUTOPILOT SETUP > DISENGAGE BUTTON > ENABLE BROKEN LINE DETECT to “NO”.

At Oshkosh, Trig announced that they can update the TT21 class 2 transponder to a TT22 class 1 transponder. The Dynon classe 2 SV-XPNDR-262 is supposed to be the same hardware. Question, can the SV-XPNDR-262 also be updated to a class 1 SV-XPNDR-261 by Trig?

Good idea. I have star washers under both nuts. I swapped antennas and made a new cable and tried it today. Becoming convinced radio is the problem.
