Agreed - though it's difficult to pin down. It's certainly a small number of total cases, though it seems all or most of them have occurred with the Sandisk 16GB stick. I simply quit using that variety and have not have any other problems.

I saw this as well yesterday - had traffic on the screen and was picking up ADSB-in weather but not Regional/Conus radar for a while. Must have been an issue with the ground network uplinking the data.

If your other sensors with engine grounding are stable, then yes that narrows the likely candidates a bit.

It's not a Skyview defect, it's an ATC artifact, as I understand it. I'll let Dynon fill in the details of exactly how but it's been seen and addressed before.

Aaaahhhh - and there's the rub.... Basically the only way to show without a doubt that it performs to the standard is to do all the same testing required to achieve the TSO in the first place. That is neither fast nor cheap.
