EMS or Skyview exhaust valve monitoring

It would be exceedingly difficult, I would think, to pick this up in realtime while excluding factors like throttle, mixture and rpm changes, or airspeed changes (climbs/descents) that change the cooling airflow on the cylinders.

Include total flight time in User Log

Oh, well that's simple enough - run it on Tach time then, it's not going to be far enough different from actual flight time to matter for the purposes of maintenance items.

    Maintenance timer

Quickest turnaround I've seen yet on a feature request! ;D

Include total flight time in User Log

It looks like V15 software has added the maintenance logger, so that should solve your problem nicely.

    Low Speed Warning

We already have that. It's the AOA sensor.

    Autopilot control panel trim controller

Dynon - are there any plans to enable trim control for Skyview users that DON'T have the AP control panel? My panel is full and I don't have room for the stand-alone control head, I'm quite comfortable using the screen access to all the AP functions, but I would really like to have the autotrim...

    Maintenance timer

I would like to see an option, maybe in the EMS page, to start a countdown maintenance timer to bring up a message to the user upon expiration. Maybe we could set a timer to expire on 681 tach hours for example, with the label "oil change due", something like that. If the timer is expired it...

    Powering engine sensors

With almost a year of flying on my new 9A where I put the trim position on the Skyview display, I can tell you that I believe I have looked at the trim position maybe twice. Obviously different aircraft are going to have different needs for accurate takeoff trim, but the RV series is not very...

    Suggesting adding a mute button

Agreed - I have missed several calls due to the overlap of Skyview announcing something on top of ATC calling me. I ended up turning down the Skyview volume quite a bit, but that's not really an ideal solution either. Would it be possible to monitor the audio panel in some way to drop out the...

    Skid/slip ball

You should verify that it's not actually a bit of rudder trim that is needed, rather than a shim on the ADAHRS.

    Low Speed Warning

Really? So your empty weight is the same as your max gross weight?

    Flight Log

Agreed - this would be a nice add-on - I also just take a screenshot currently and go update the paper logbook later.

ADSB proximity alarm (LED flashing light)

You already get a verbal warning "Traffic!" in the headset, what more do you need?

    BARO Button

It seems that this should be on the "Descent Checklist" rather than built into the Skyview, since you would need to perform this step in any aircraft, with or without Skyview.

    Transponder Fail

It's more likely you've experienced a wire break.

    Pitch Attitude unstable.

This can be due to rising or falling air in the atmosphere from localized heating. You can pretty much eliminate this as a factor if you take a test flight early in the morning before the sun has a chance to heat the ground and generate thermals in the atmosphere, or by flying very high...

DYNON MUST STOP BETA TESTING ON ITS CUSTOMERS

I see a lot of red flags in your story, most of which are coming from you (the user). I suspect you might benefit from a little more RTFM (Read The F'ing Manual) and a little less drama. Very happy Dynon customer here...

    My Own Traffic

This happened to me on Tuesday afternoon leaving Oshkosh, near Madison WI. I'm going to assume that it was due to FAA computer workload, but man it sure got my attention in that particular situation with all the local traffic. I'm running the latest software on Skyview with the Dynon...

    Sky view temperature Sensor?

I did the same, I used a small computer CPU fan that draws 300ma and just hung it on the avionics master bus.
