Does sky view give any warning if its internal temperatures get too high? I'm thinking about under dash cooling on an experimental aircraft.

SkyView does have internal temp sensors and warns if it gets too hot. You can also go into the HARDWARE STATUS screen and see what the current temp is.

In our experience, this really isn't an issue.

Not an answer but I installed a fan in my RV-7A to pull the hot air from behind the panel. Serves double purpose as a screen defogger. Electronics prefer cool over hot and I live in the heat of South Georgia.
