    New Trig Radio

Vern, I can empathize with you on the panel space, but one mans trash is anothers treasure. As I'm building my 9A I knew I would be a bit noseheavy and I've enjoyed being able to move several avionics boxes to a mounting shelf just aft of the elevator autopilot servo behind the baggage...

    Dynon comm radio

Can you give us a clue? Are we talking 6 months? 12 months? For those of us building out our panels in that timeframe a little hint would go a long way...

    Autotrim?

Those are definitely valid points - but I would think it would be relatively simple (and granted, I'm not designing an AP for experimental aviation) to interface with one of the electric trim providers like Ray Allen that include a potentiometer in the trim device for position feedback. With...

    Autotrim?

Dynon - any plans on interfacing with electric pitch trim devices to keep them in trim automatically instead of having to manually adjust?

    V3.3

I can just hear that now - on non-stalling low airspeed high-G (smack the runway) you get "D'oh!!" in the headset...

    NavWorx ADS-B In Compatibility

Dynon - any update on uncertified UAT RX only recommendations? I already have your transponder installed for ADSB-Out.

    Dynon Com Radio

Dynon - any plans for a NAV radio, or Comm only at this time? Nevermind - ran across another thread where you said you don't intend to produce a NAV radio. Guess I'll have to find another source for my secondary NAV/COM.

    what's next

My wishlist, in order of importance: VNAV - autopilot coupling to VNAV guidance from certified IFR GPS or glideslope receiver ADSB weather/traffic Nav/Comm radio Airspeed-hold mode We greatly appreciate the terrific job Dynon is doing in offering a great product to the experimental market -...

New products to be introduced soon

And both of these capability changes will be software-driven, assuming a GPS capable of vertical nav such as a 430W?

    Approach Plates

Yep - same here. I put Jepp in the same pile with Bill Gates, it ain't a good pile to be in.

The Yellow Screen of Death ...

Bill Gates is Evil Incarnate, we know that - but I would first suspect some software switch on the laptop that is preventing the use of the comm port.

    GNS-430 and Skyview

The ARINC-429 converter that will come later after release - is this a hardware module, or a software patch? Also - any plans (I know, I know - "someday" - just askin...) to offer a nav/comm radio module as an add-on to the Skyview?

    Altitude Tape

Groundspeed would only be available with GPS inputs - not all users will have that. True airspeed is also an important number for many higher performance experimental aircraft (like the RV/Lancair/Glassair series) that are capable of high altitude flight and need to keep flutter margins in mind...

Next Gen is now Dynon Skyview!

So how is that done currently - following a user-programmed descent angle and localizer over fixed waypoints on the ground, for reference only, under VFR?

Naviagtion Data Source (GPS, NAV) Switching

Will the GPS 250 be WAAS capable? I understand it's not valid for IFR use, just wondering. I'm probably 12-15 months from building my panel - any chance you'll have a nav/comm radio unit to plug into the Skyview by then? ;) If it's not obvious by now - I'm just looking for a decent reason to...

Next Gen is now Dynon Skyview!

Excellent - you've definitely got your market pinpointed. Now on to the next major part - integrated nav/comm! Get cracking, Dynon!

Next Gen is now Dynon Skyview!

To clarify a bit - will the Skyview have the database to generate the GPS display for VFR use? I can see the usefulness of a certified GPS for /G IFR operations - but I would really like to be able have the same data available as a navaid for VFR or non-/G IFR.

Next Gen is now Dynon Skyview!

OK - so what's this about a GPS receiver? Spill it! Give us some details here - have you finally added Dynon-branded GPS reception to your toolbox, and to what degree? I'd love to scratch the 430W off my list...

    ADS-B

Dynon, Will the next-gen system have any provisions for accepting input for graphical display from the coming crop of ADS-B receivers? The free weather the FAA is promising would be a good thing, among others...
