Erratic Fuel Flow (FF)  reading with alarm

Re: Erratic Fuel Flow (FF)  reading with alarm What if it's not a nuisance alarm, but an indicator of a bigger issue? Is it possible you're seeing some vapor bubbles forming in the line during low power descent (classic vapor lock danger zone)? Under low power, the engine driven pump would...

    oil pressure sensor

Polar - if you cannot find the 200 ohm resistor you need, and you can handle the idea of a small amount of error, I suggest you use 4 resistors in series of 49 ohms value (a common resistor value, easy to find), this will give you 196 ohms and a 2% errror, as versus 220 ohms with a 10% error.

AP stick on and off button

With that in mind - is a separate autopilot disconnect switch required somewhere, or can the AP74 be used for that? While I believe that it is good practice to have an AP disconnect on the stick, that is not always possible.

Copilot D-180 as BusMaster for AP

Clear - hence the need to use the D180 as AP master, so that in case of failure you lose either the AP, or the EFIS, but not both.

Copilot D-180 as BusMaster for AP

Ok - similar question. Now that we know either unit (D100 or D180) can run the AP, let's say I have my preferred panel installed with a D100/D180/AP74 and I'm running the AP off the D100 and that unit dies in flight. How much heartburn is entailed in switching the AP to drive off the D180 in the...

    Clock problem after 5.0 update

Now THAT is good information to have, and should be added to the installation manual.

    long term storage of fuel

It's called tricresyl phosphate, or TCP. It's a lead scavenger that will reduce the gaseous levels of lead in the combustion chamber and exhaust, lowering some of the issues associated with running 100LL.

    Odd voltage reading

Dynon - what is the voltage sampling rate on your unit, and do you do any smoothing across samples? Could this be related to ripple output and sampling frequency?

    OAT Differences

Another possibility - coming out of the fuselage just behind the step mount plate. If you place it in trail of the step, it's already in disturbed air and will not contribute significantly to parasitic drag - but will have more than sufficient airflow across it to register accurate free stream...
