So, this is...interesting. I had no idea Dynon was allowing OEMs to do this. In the US, perhaps an S-LSA might have this update lock out. The owner then changes the aircraft to an E-LSA. The owner now has full legal control of the aircraft. How would the owner override this lockout craziness?

If you plan to update to 2020 compliance at some point, why not make use of it early? It's the same $ spent.
