    Skyview 17.4 bug?

Yes- Dynon has been notified. It appears to be a problem when using an external navigator (ARINC 429). You should notify Dynon so they realize how many people are impacted by this. That field is also on your HSI display. See circled areas.

    Angled Panel Mounts

I wish I could. One day maybe. This technology is rapidly improving. If my girlfriend would only be as enthusiastic about jewelry that I 3D printed. Kurt

    Angled Panel Mounts

No problem. Here is some #6 nutplate shims set at the panel / screw angle. I counter bored the hole sou you can mount the nutplate on backside with pop rivets or universal head soft alum rivets. you would apply some kinda contact cement to these on first install so they would not fall out...

    Angled Panel Mounts

That will not work, I am in Texas. Here is the .STL and .F3D file zipped. You can find someone to print it for you or use a service that is in-country. I would recommend you print it in PLA first then work out any changes. Then have it printed with PA12-CF, or ULTEM, or machined out of...

    Angled Panel Mounts

I printed out a sample in PLA. It looks pretty good, but I don't have a spare HDX-1100 to check for fit. Birddog, where are you located? I am willing to send this to you for a fit check. Kurt

    Angled Panel Mounts

Thats is a good question. i thought of couple options. thru screws that go thru the panel but the screws will be angled, requiring an angled shim washer on back side of panel. They could be 3D printed also. But would require acces to both sides of display to install or remove. Could 3D...

    Angled Panel Mounts

I assume you are looking for something like this panel. The Glasairs have been using these for 25+ Years. They are sold as the vision micro panel. It is made of fiberglass with aluminum inserts. I am sure you could find one for sale on the Glasair owners group or direct from Glasair. You...

    Skyview 17.4 bug?

I confirmed yesterday that if i enter a flight plan into skyview and change the HSI source to Skyview the next waypoint identifier is populated. So, this problem only exists when getting flight plan via the Arinc 429 source. kurt

    EarthX Temperature FWF

The EarthX battery BMS already monitors the temperature and will provide a light output that can be connected to your Skyview display. But if you must have an actual temperature i believe someone made a sensor that you connected to the battery post. Not sure if it was a type K, J, or RTD type.

    Skyview 17.4 bug?

Dynon is aware of the bug. I did get a response back from Don at Dynon. i suspect the holidays have delayed any real responses or work on this. Not sure exactly what he meant by being random, but i see this issue on every flight.

    Skyview 17.4 bug?

Yes it should be showing the name of the waypoint. I sent an email to Dynon on this as it appears to be a bug in the latest version. kurt

GTN 635Xi to HDX 'to' waypoint name

I see same issue when updated to 17.4. If you have “NEXT WPT” in a datablock it will be blank. I think it is a bug. Kurt

I noticed today that my “Next Wpt” data block is always showing ————-. This used to work. What am i missing? Is this a new feature of 17.4? It is also missing on the HSI IFD540 data block.

I still do not have the cycle that starts today. However, there is hope they did not go out of business. Got this email this morning from Seattle: Hello Kurt, and thank you for contacting us. The new cycle (2508) of ChartData is being released now, in phases, by avionics/app type. I do not...

    High Amps on Transmit

Another thing to consider is the location of the shunt and the EMS differential pair of wires connected. It only takes 50mV (.050 V) difference between the wires to indicate 50AMPS. These wires must be a twisted pair and should be isolated from other high current carrying wires. Kurt
