    Airspeed Bug

Actually, 1.3 VS1 is exactly what I am trying to achieve but not with the autopilot, just the bug. My VS1 is set as 48 kts yet the bug cannot be set below 72. i’ll take a look at your reference and try that to see if does anything. Thanks!

    Airspeed Bug

Does anyone know how to change the limits of the airspeed bug? I can't select anything below 72 kts. I don't see anything in either the install manual or pilot guide and nothing obvious in the setup menus. The only thing I haven't tried is checking to see if the lower limit of the bug is...

Seattle Avionics chart data… yet again

I'm not sure why people bother. I have heard nothing positive about SA. I use PocketFMS for keeping my Skyview AIRAC up to date. Couldn't be simpler. Takes less than 30 seconds.

Dynon Transponders and ADS-B in Canada

Just released from COPA.......Like I have said before, little wonder why they have spent over a half century trying to figure out the legality of turning right on a red light in places like Quebec. The bureaucracy is staggering. "NAV CANADA has now published its Mandate requiring ADS-B Out...

    SV-XPNDR-261 Mode C (ALT), and ADS-B

You are correct, the GPS is not generating RF but your position data that gets sent via the XPDR is coming from it. Basically if the information being sent is not within the required parameters, you fail the test. I had the exact issue you are having when my aircraft was equipped with the...

    SV-XPNDR-261 Mode C (ALT), and ADS-B

This might be too simple but hasn't been brought up yet. Which GPS antenna are you using? The GPS-250 will produce ADSB-Out which can indeed be seen by apps like Flightaware but will not have enough power to satisfy FAA standards.requirements. Only the GPS-2020 will meet the FAA requirements...

Latest update erased Aithre CO sensor data

I lost mine in the latest update as well. I noticed that Aithre had a new widget download on their support page specifically for Dynon’s latest update. I loaded the new widget file and everything is back to normal.

Dynon Transponders and ADS-B in Canada

Pretty sure most of us will be long buried before Canada gets itself organized with any actual legislated ADS-B requirements for GA. I have the Dynon 261 and 472, 1090 ES ADS-B in and out. I flew along the U.S. border and quickly got an approval for "all systems go" from the FAA. After checking...

    Space based ADSB

It's Canada. They are still doing studies in Montreal to determine the safety impacts of possibly legalizing a right turn on a red light.

    Geo-referenced Charts/Plates for Canada

Do you know if the US charts provided by Seattle Avionics overlap the Canadian Border at all? For example, the FAA New York Sectional actually encompasses some of Southern Ontario and Quebec. And Vice Versa, Canadian charts overlap some of the bordering states. If so, this might be a temporary...

    SSID Update not working

Hi and thanks for responding! Yes, I changed the SSID to something longer than 8 characters and it did accept the change. Thanks again.

    SSID Update not working

When I setup the DRX, the intial wifi name was DRX XXX. In settings, I updated to a custon SSID with a password. It accepted the change and displayed that the change would take place on next power up. On next power up it now has some open SSID that I did not configure with a name of...
