What screws are used for the SkyView Touch/HDX?

The screws shipped with SkyView for mounting are #6-32 x 5/8" hex heads.

A little background context is that digital vector data (airport and obstacle data,) such as what Dynon publishes, doesn't take as much processing as chart data, and our release date is the week before the Thursday expiration. Geo-referenced chart data takes a lot more processing, so you can't...

    D10A altimeter problems.

You don't mention airspeed, is it correct? If so, this points to the altitude sensor having failed. You should contact our tech support and have us inspect the D10A.

    Setting the Altitude Bug

Are you sure you get 1000's? You should get 100 feet per knob click.

    Kavlico fuel pressure sending unit

Sorry, we don't have any experience with the EFII bus manager. SkyView will say "fuel pressure low" right in your headset if the fuel pressure does dip, so I think most people rely on that.

That is a good idea. Stay tuned.

    Kavlico fuel pressure sending unit

It is linear if SkyView is not attached. Because SkyView applies a pull-up resistor, this causes some non-linearity (which SkyView happily corrects for). Make sure your auto backup pump system doesn't load the signal with more than a few K-ohms of resistance or your SkyView reading will be off...

Ted, they listened to you. Yesterday we received an email from Seattle Avionics that says, in part: "The new FAA data cycle begins this Thursday. Be sure to update to the current data before you fly. Seattle Avionics ChartData was made available earlier this week so you could download it ahead...

Our goal is to return repaired units within 10 days from here at the factory, plus a couple days for shipping each way. If you purchased the D180 from our UK dealer, Mendelssohn, they may be able to fix you up with a loaner while yours gets fixed. Either way, we suggest you get it in for...

    Incorrect RPM reading io540 RV10

1.5 should be correct for a six-cylinder engine. The resistor you are adding is to voltage-divide the lead voltage, since the SkyView input only needs 10 volts. SkyView only reads the positive side of the voltage pulse, and sometimes if there is ringing the negative pulse may go slightly...

It's not clear why you wanted the output function, but are you aware it is not linear? The function is a curve. Contact us if you need more details.

    Incorrect RPM reading io540 RV10

You might have to experiment a little. Here are the instructions from page 7-39 of the SkyView System Installation Manual (Revision Y, dated April 2016.) =============== Tachometer Transducer If you have a dedicated tachometer transducer (usually with a 12 volt output), you may simply connect...

    SV TACH time

The data stored as TACH TIME is actually the total revolutions, which is then shown divided by the CRUISE RPM. So when you change the CRUISE RPM, the displayed TACH TIME will change its value. If you think the historical TACH TIME is wrong using the new value of CRUISE RPM, you can change it in...

Yep, it generally works great and as I say, I personally use it whenever I land at an unfamiliar airport, and I've never had it not work, so there's something unique up here.

    HOBBS counting without oil pressure.

Yep, the issue is your oil pressure, which triggers the HOBBS. You might have the wrong sensor type selected in setup.

    Airport Diagram Feature Request

This should work, and works for me every time I use it at every random airport, so something is up. And yes, it's 1/2 second, not 2 seconds, sorry for that typo. Can you try something? Go into INFO and load a non airport diagram chart (approach plate, etc). Then try the 1/2 second press. If...
